Taylor Crabtree

Taylor Crabtree is making her second visit to Indian Wells for the Margaritaville

USA Pickleball National Championships and is still in awe after last year’s inaugural journey. “The facility is just incredible; it just leaves me speechless. Pickleball just looks amazing, and everyone has a blast and it’s so much more than just playing there. Watching center court and the pros is incredible, and all the fun games in the food court area, and the amount of people and smiles you see just makes it an unbelievable experience. “

As a junior at Brentwood Academy in Tennessee, Taylor has quickly elevated her game, playing 5.0 in women’s and mixed doubles. She has captured two Junior Nationals women’s doubles titles and one mixed doubles crown and consistently earns medals in numerous local tournaments in her home state. She hopes to one day take her game on to the collegiate scene. “I do hope to attend college, and as of right now, I am thinking about going into Sports Medicine / Exercise Science or something that deals with Physical Therapy. Pickleball is constantly growing and it’s amazing to watch. I wish I would be able to go to college and play it there because that could easily pay for a lot of it!! But one day, I definitely see pickleball becoming just a massive sport, and an Olympic sport as well.”
